Our original lunch plan was to go to Tom Yum Thai in Dunedin, but we discovered they aren’t open for lunch on Sundays.  Next stop was Casa Tina, but they were only serving brunch, so we ended up at Cafe Alfresco and had a very yummy lunch.  Next time, we’ll just have to remember to start here.  We started off with some egg rolls.

Mmmm… this is how egg rolls should be.  They were fresh and crunchy and had wonderful flavors inside.  Plus the dipping sauce was tasty too.  We decided to split a buttermilk ranch chicken sandwich and a bowl of gumbo.

Great flavors all around.  The chicken was cooked perfectly and the fries had a nice crunch.  The gumbo wasn’t spicy, but it had a deep, rich smokey flavor to it.  We both left there with happy taste buds.  Total bill with a drink was $25.
