We were heading out to John Chestnut Park to search for some geocaches today.  Needed something filling to keep us going all afternoon, so stopped at Vetture’s Restaurant in Palm Harbor for lunch.

I like cheesesteaks and the one at Vetture’s is very yummy.  Lots of cheesy goodness, onions and mushrooms.  Loren got the Italian sub and we were both stuffed by the time we were done.  Their 6 inch subs seem a lot bigger than any other 6 inch subs I’ve had elsewhere.

Two subs and a drink ran us $16.

I usually bring my lunch to work, but on Fridays my friend Cathy and I head out for lunch.  With the temperature dropping, soup was high on the list of desired menu items, so we headed out to Amarit Thai in Palm Harbor.

They start you off with some chicken and rice soup and an spring roll.  It’s a great place to go for lunch and there’s almost always other people from work there.  You just can’t beat soup, spring roll, and a big ol’ dish of pad thai for $10.
